Youngster Charlie Banya is to go the other way to get match practice at the Cards.

Manager Dean Saunders wants to bring in someone capable of scoring to boost his attack.

He revealed: “We are about to sign Dean Morgan on loan from Woking. It’s a straight swap with Charles.

“They are on the same wages so it isn’t costing us anything.

“It’s a man in the building. He plays anywhere across the front. He is really talented, got goals this season and is an experienced player.

“He’s technically very good and has played at this level.

“I just think we need experienced players right now. We have some young lads here, quite a few young lads, and I think Charles will go out and benefit from getting games as well.”

Morgan has scored nine goals for Woking this season in the Conference Premier and has made 369 appearances in the Football League before being released by Wycombe at the end of last season.

He could feature in the squad for this weekend’s visit to Fleetwood Town if the paperwork is completed in time.

Saunders is hoping to sign another goalkeeper in time for Saturday as back-up for Lewis Price to fill the gap created by Brian Jensen who will be out for 10 weeks with an injured finger.
