Crawley Town host last season’s League 1 play-off finalists Millwall tomorrow (Saturday) at the Checkatrade Stadium.

Neil Harris’ Lions enjoyed a good campaign last season, just missing out 3-1 against Barnsley in the play-off final at Wembley.

Head coach Dermot Drummy expects to field an unchanged side from that which started in last weekend’s 4-0 defeat by Championship club Brighton.

Drummy said: “I except it to be a similar side to that which started against Brighton, although there might be a couple of injuries.

“Hopefully by the time we play Wycombe (on August 6), everyone will have had a physical work-out, because we’ve got to be flying when we play them and then we’ve got Wolves (Capital One Cup) which will be high level.”

Striker Matt Harrold is not expected to play for another week as he recovers from knee surgery.

Former Sporting Lisbon and Liverpool midfielder Yalany Baio could feature on trial after playing in the last half hour in Tuesday night’s 2-1 win against Worthing.

Drummy does not yet feel his squad is complete and could yet give a chance to other trialists.

He said: “The recruitment team I have give me some players and I look at them and listen to them.

“He’s (Baio) come in to training, you look and have to see if he can play at Division 2 level or against Wolves.

“He didn’t disgrace himself, he did OK (against Worthing) and you have to think how they’d get on at a higher level.

“Sometimes you get a call and someone comes on the scene you’ve got to look at.

“You have to decide if they are better than you’ve already got or if you can fit them into your budget.

“So I’d be lying if I said no-one else is coming in - I still think we’re looking.”
