Crawley Town manager Mark Yates wants to put on a good show for the fans at Saturday’s home game against Carlisle United.

However remembering Reds’ 3-1 away defeat in November, he knows it is certainly going to be a difficult task.

Yates said: “We know they are a good side. When we went there they bullied us all over the park.

“We expect it to be a really tough game for us.”

Yates wants a response from their 2-1 defeat at champions Northampton and to put an end to their five-game losing run.

He said: “We’ll go in a positive frame of mind and we want to entertain the supporters.”

Gavin Tomlin is expected to be in contention for selection having recovered from a hamstring injury.

Yates said: “Gavin’s got a chance. His fitness will be assessed and he could come into the squad.”

However Adam Bond will be ruled out for the rest of the season as he begins a three-match ban following his sending-off at Northampton.
