fa cup

CRAWLEY Town will face Stoke City in the 5th round of the FA Cup at the Broadfield Stadium.

The Reds have enjoyed another giant-killing year after beating Championship sides Bristol City and Hull City in the last two rounds,

And now they face Stoke City in the last 16 - the same round they lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in a history-making run last year.

The games will take place on the weekend of February 18/19.

Nuneaton Town captain Mark Noon and former Middlesbrough and Spain midfielder Gaizka Mendieta made the draw for the Fifth Round proper live on ITV1.

And obviously this site doesn't post Turkish letters. So let's have it right. It's Besiktas. Done.

Demand accuracy? I was obviously joking where as you were actually trying to be serious in your comment....You just wrote the same thing as I did.you wrote beskitas too, oops do you feel daft?...I meant Beşiktaş its an iPhone spell correct that did that Not me. I'm not wound up. I'm as cool as a cucumber....it's expected? Why say you can get a result from us? Hope you do enjoy it and Im proud of a little old English club getting so far. I'm just stating a pure fact that stoke are no walkover. City till I die. I would love to come and watch the game with you but I'll be in Valencia at that point...sorry mate.

Funny how you demand accuracy from my stats. In your first comment you said Crawley were 600th place. As I established before that was wrong. And I have never heard of Baskitas? Are they a new team? (I just checked, you meant Beskitas, of course!) And for someone who is not worried about Crawley Town - you seem to be getting rather wound up... And a third world team? I think that is rather insensitive don't you. Do you know what third world means? If Stoke beat Crawley five+ nil then that would have been expected. But we are enjoying the ride!

Europa Leage away games pal. Not Europa league home games. Plus that's in the Premier Leage, not in the FA cup against a third world team. We were finalists last year....do you think we don't want to be there again? and that little jynx has gone away with the vale, keep up to date with your stats mate. we played FC Thun at home, beat West Brom away the game later, we played dynamo at home beat Everton 1-0 the game later, we played Basiktas away beat wolves 2-1 the game later. Need I go on? We fear nobody. Cya and you lr 4500 seater stadium. Think we have more seats than that in block 30 of our ground and yes, we wont find it though mate, not at all, think it will be easy. Very very easy. 5+ nil easy. You stick to worrying about what fixtures you have in the run up to the game, an ill stick to worrying about Manchester United away on Tuesday. Bye Bye.

I love a sensible, thought out comment from a typical football fan. I understand your wit, using exaggeration to confound your point that Crawley are lower than Stoke. but Stoke are not 592 places above Crawley. Stoke maybe able to bully results out of the overpaid prima donna footballers in the Premier League, but they will find it tougher than you think at the Broadfield. And you haven't done too well after Europa League games this year have you?

A good and winnable draw for the Reds. They deserve a a draw against a big club after all that travelling in the last two years. Shame it wasn't Liverpool or Chelsea but Stoke will do. The TV cameras have got to be coming to the Broadfield haven't they?!
