Three Bridges manager Paul Faili praised Sam MacVicar for his Man of the Match display against Horsham.

But he was critical of both referee Alexander Fisher for his decisions and of the opposition.

Following his side’s 4-3 away victory Faili said: “I was disappointed with Horsham I felt they fell on the ground a bit too quickly.

“They didn’t want to match us football-wise which I understand. The standard of the game was disappointing.

“There was an injustice because we picked up yellow cards (five) we didn’t need to pick up.

“The referee could have been better with his distribution of yellows (5-3). He played what he saw. We looked after the ball and they (Horsham) became a bit punchy and he did nothing about it.”

Faili praised: “Defensively we worked really, really hard.

“The two penalties against us were a bit soft and to win a game where you have two penalties against you is not bad.

“Our goals and build-up play were excellent.

“Sam MacVicar was absolutely outstanding. His workrate and ability to get across players was superb. He just gets better and better with every game. He’s a handful, he’s difficult to mark, tall, powerful and fit.

“Lee Carney kept his head, worked well with the referee and directed the team so well.
