The 38-year-old also said he will do what is necessary for the Crawley Town fans.

The club has held fans forums before and Kewell insists is not one to hide.

He said: “I will do what’s necessary, I will always pay them respect because I love this sport and I get to play it.

“Every fan gets my respect whether they are good or bad. I take my hat of to them because the game would be nothing without fans.

“For our supporters, they will have access to a small part.

“I am not one of these who hide, I will always be about and if anyone wants to come up and chat I don’t mind chatting - I can waffle all day long!”
