So far the Reds have brought in midfielder Dannie Bulman and strikers Moussa Sanoh and Panutche Camara.

Kewell was full of praise for Bulman (see interview in this week's Crawley Observer) but is also excited about the young attacking players.

He told us yesterday: “With Sanoh and Camara, these are two young players who are going to be introduced to the Football league.

“Am I one of these coaches who gives people time? Don’t know yet, I never got time. There’s a big thing at the moment that people need time, they need a year to settle in and all that.

“I believe in confidence, in communication, and a positive attitude and you know what, let’s just see what they can do.

“I am confident in them from what I have seen without physically going to watch them.

“I am impressed.

“They bring something different, something different that the league hasn’t seen before, so we’ll see.”

Camara was the latest signing, announced last Thursday.

The 20-year-old, agreed a two-year deal, with an option of an extra year, from Ryman League Premier Division outfit Dulwich Hamlet.

The forward made 15 appearances for Hamlet last season and was previously part of Championship side Barnsley’s under-23 team.
