The main difference was that two games were played in each match and in the knock-out matches the aggregate score counted towards the winning side qualifying for the next round.

In the main knock out cup Ifield Galaxy met Chesworth Rovers, who had narrowly won their semi-final after a marathon penalty shoot-out.

The first game saw Chesworth take the lead at half-time, but Galaxy then step up a gear and ran away comfortable winners opening up a four-goal lead.

In the second game Chesworth fought back bravely and reduced the deficit by two but Galaxy always held the upper hand to become the first ever winners.
