An excellent win for Erik van mol against top supervet John Callcut was Spinners’ only success. The biggest surprise was Rory Scott losing all three matches. Bipin Majithia and Graham Green scored maximums.

Crawley Comm B 5 Trinity 4

Guildford star John Robinson was wheeled out for this one, only being pushed by Barrie Gilbert in a close four setter. Sai Man Yau won the crucial game in five against Ben Dewsbury. Graham Beaney played well and beat Sai Man Yau in a tight four setter.

Foresters B 4 Foresters C 5

Foresters B roared off to a 3-0 lead with excellent wins for Gordon Hall, Glyn Hydes and Brian Risby. The C team responded winning the next five matches with Nicholls winning a tight one against Glyn Hydes. Gordon Hall won the last rubber.

Foresters A v Foresters D 9-0

Another masterclass from Adam Todd and Wes Bush-Harris, ably supported by the man in the exotic shorts comfortably won 9-0 with no matches going the distance. Chis Pullinger, Adam Daley and Barry Cheer fought hard with no reward.
