Crawley gained their second win in a row when goals by Tom Jarvis, Adrian Bettesworth. Kieran Fuller, Seb Watson and Carl Wright earned them an excellent 5-3 win against last season’s second-placed finishers Burnt Ash.
They started on the front foot and it wasn’t long before a chance worked from a short corner fell to Tom Jarvis who hit a neat shot into the bottom left hand corner to make it 1-0.
The visitors were struggling to create much with the home side defending from the front and pushing them back towards their own goal every time they had they ball.
This meant the visitors got very annoyed every early on with their subs even trying to antagonize the Crawley bench. Crawley knew it would only be a matter of time before goals would come.
With the opposition down a player through a sin-binning, the hosts won another corner which was worked to Bettesworth to finish to make it 2-0.
The opposition then seemed to find their way to the sin bin one after the other for various offences.

It didn’t seem long before Crawley would get another and again up stepped Fuller from a short corner to fire past a helpless keeper 3-0 Crawley.
Crawley lost Reece Banton to an early hamstring strain and Baz Ahemdi through a raised stick which resulted in a sin-binning.
Two quick goals while they had 10 players on the pitch reduced the arrears to 3-2.
But this galvanised the home side and they came forward again some quick thinking around the circle put Seb Watson in and he fired past the keeper into the top of the net.
Seb Watson then had an initial shot saved before Carl Wright to put it past the keeper 5-2.
Burnt Ash got another but never looked much of a threat with the defence playing well once again they didn’t have much of a look at getting anything out of the game.
