Balint treble sets up Foresters for upset as Bush-Harris proves unflappable

A close encounter went to the last game between Martin Skitt playing up and Don Thomas, Don came from 2-1 down to win convincingly 11-3 in the fifth. Phil Nicholls and Matt Craig won two each with Csaba Balint posting a maximum for the D team.

Crawley A 1 Horsham B 8

Fawzi Yousif continued his comeback after three years out through a back injury. He competed well in all three only losing 11-8 in the fifth to Dan Pound.

Dan and Mark had great wins over Bipin Majithia.

Crawley B 0 Horsham A 9

Horsham trio Dan Barna, who is still unbeaten this season, Steve Barby and Tony Catt, who has also picked up the winning habit, trounced Crawley trio Barrie Gilbert, John Hook and Sai Man Yau.

Foresters A 8 Spinners A 1

An eagerly awaited match between Adam Todd and Rory Scott ended in a comfortable win in 11-4 for Todd. Wes Bush-Harris was his usual immaculate self winning three without breaking into a sweat. Mike Robinson won two losing to Rory three straight.

Foresters B 6 Trinity A 4

Another closely contested contest went to the last game with captain courageous Steel narrowly scraping home 8 in the decider against Graham Beaney. Gordon Hall continued his excellent form winning two.
