The under-15s team booked their place in the final thanks to a 60-43 win against Manchester school St Peter’s RC in the semi-final played in Wolverhampton.

Strong team play and good ball movement saw them walk away with their first national title, as they won the final 103-39.

Trinity’s tough defence and depth on the bench proved too much for South London School Lampton.

Coach Karl Youngman said: “We’ve had another good season and I’m really happy with the progress the boys have made.

The team had weekly league fixtures and had a successful first season, finishing fourth in the league with only one under-19s player on the roster.

Trinity then went on to make the play-off
quarter-final, where they lost to the eventual play-off winners.

The under-17a team also made it to the National Schools semi-final, after taking the crown of the best team in the South.

Trinity faced a tough City of London team in the semi, but competed with them for three quarters of the game.

That was impressive considering the squad contained only three under-17s.
