No Caption ABCDE
Emilie Marsh, 12, from Horley has been presented with the Fay Green Award for progress in gymnastics.
The trophy is presented annually by Springfit Gymnastics and Trampolining club to the gymnast who, in the opinion of the coaches, has made the most progress in the previous 12 months.
The award came as a pleasant surprise to Emilie who participates in two gymnastics classes as well as trampolining with the club.
Showing a keenness and dedication that has seen Emilie progress from improvers level classes to the Saturday advanced squad, she stood out from the shortlist drawn up by all five head coaches at the club.
Emilie approaches her coaches to ask how to improve her skills at home.
Having such enthusiasm has helped her stand out and be chosen from over 900 children at the club and some very talented gymnasts across several advanced squad classes.
Springfit run gymnastics and trampoline classes for all ages and abilities from pre-school to adult and have several local training venues. For further information contact Adam Reynolds on 07932 752 081, email Info@springfit.org or visit www.springfit.org.
