A DOG died and three women suffered smoke inhalation in a house fire yesterday (Tuesday November 24).
Emergency services were called to Grouse Road, Pease Pottage, just after 4pm.

Three woman were treated by paramedics at the scene.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received three or four calls about smoke issuing from a house.

"We assisted three females but a dog died in the fire.

"The women were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.

"Three fire engines and a support vehicle attened the scene."
