Sunday, August 30, should be an important day in everyone’s calendar. It will be Last Wave on Broadway.

For the past nine years Tim French has been welcoming music enthusiasts to The Broadway, Haywards Heath, for the twice yearly It’s Magic street music festivals.

Live music lovers are urged to support this last event (11am to 10pm) and tickets are expected to go fast at £8 (£12 on the day).

A festival atmosphere is created as the first performer wakes up Broadway at 11am.

The Broadway is transformed by closing it to traffic with two stages placed at either end of the street. Expect an eclectic mix of high energy music, delivered back-to-back.

The event is a family-friendly community festival that supports local talent. There will be bands, singers and musicians performing a mix of genres, which include classical, folk, latin, pop, jazz and country.

A dedicated music event, this is a festival with a difference. The intimate and relaxed vibe should hit visitors the moment they enter The Broadway and the sound quality should be superb.

A selection of delicious food and drink is served from the bars and restaurants, which will spill out onto the street and create a café atmosphere.

While not listening to music visitors will be enthralled by entertainers and magicians mingling in the street to captivate children and adults alike.

This event takes place in The Broadway, Haywards Heath. Tickets are £8 for adults (£12 on the day) and free for children (11 and under). People can book by calling 01444 800045 or visiting www.itsmagic.org.uk.

Alternatively, people can get tickets in person from Baldwins, South Road; Broadbridges, Sussex Road; Fun Bags Party Shop, Orange Square; Savannah and Idle Wild, The Broadway – all in Haywards Heath. It’s Magic can be found at The Priory Business Centre, Haywards Heath. Call 01444 800045 or email info@itsmagic.org.uk.
