The recent Naked Choir TV series on BBC2 featured a cappella singing – simply the human voice without the accompaniment of musical instruments.

The Sussex Harmonisers chorus is one of the leading male a cappella choruses in South-East England, performing in the barbershop style with a membership of enthusiastic singers.

The group is running a free Learn to Sing course for men on Tuesday evenings from Tuesday, January 26, to March 8, at St Paul’s College, Burgess Hill (7.30pm-9pm).

The fun course is aimed at men who are new to singing, those who haven’t sung for a while and those who want to improve. Over the seven weeks, participants will learn two songs in a group setting.
