There’s a professor with a rocket in the cellar, his physics-savvy female ward who screams quite often and his eager but impoverished lab assistant – and together they find themselves on a distant planet before escaping to…where exactly?
Escape From The Planet Of The Day That Time Forgot brings it all together on September 30 (7.45pm) at The Hawth Studio, Crawley.
The company are promising a hotch-potch of silliness, drawing from Journey to the Centre of The Earth and The Land that Time Forgot, a touch of Planet of The Apes and a dash of 1940s values, all served up with time travel, Norse Gods, dinosaurs and whole pile of pluck along with an invisible dog and several sets of jolly hockey sticks.
Three performers combine fast storytelling with bold imagery and jokes-a-plenty as they transport audiences from stately English home to sinister extra-terrestrial vegetation and back again in a frantic, outrageous adventure.
Tickets on 01293 553636.
