Spokeswoman Louise Lambert said: “Horsham Artists Open Studios (HAOS for short) is an informal and friendly group of artists who live and work in the Horsham district.

“The only criterion for becoming a HAOS artist is a desire to be part of an enthusiastic team of like-minded creators and makers.

“Artists do not undergo any kind of selection process, and the ethos is one of welcoming all who are keen to engage in any creative art-related activity, workshops, demonstrations, pop-up galleries and anything else we can do to entice the broader public to the world of art.

“Our group comprises of artists who are just starting out...the enthusiastic amateur considering art expression for the first time...to those who are working in a professional capacity as artist, creators and makers. We get together monthly to share ideas and information, and work together to create events and publicity to showcase and sell our work...if we’re lucky!

“Our recent ARTTRAIL in and around Horsham had a fabulous response in June. Encouraged by this, we are holding our next ARTFAIR at Roffey Park, and we are very grateful to be supported by Horsham Rotary (through our involvement with the Born Free Paint an Elephant fund raiser).

“We are also welcoming Horsham Rotary to use the event to promote young artists from across the Horsham District, with a display in the main foyer. And you never know, some of this young talent may wish to join our group of merry creators in the future.”
