Bexhill and Battle Constituency Labour Party Women's Section

We will be lobbying Government Ministers about the rape crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo, loopholes preventing non UK registered spouses/women being able to seek refuge from domestic violence and the continuance of the fuel allowance for ex patriots.

We will be continuing our support for Guide Dogs for the Blind at their local Coffee Mornings/ collecting stamps and holding our usual tombola/ cake stall for the Friends of St Jude's refuge in the summer.

With local elections in some authorities fast approaching members if able will be supporting Hastings Labour Party particularly fighting against the threat of BNP candidates who are standing in some wards and also in the build up to the Mayoral Elections in London on May 1st.
