MARCH was a busy month for the club, starting with a Mothers Day lunch and then a Creole Jazz Night the following day.

On Easter Saturday, over 40 members and guests enjoyed a Bangers and Mash supper and entertained by one of the members on his piano accordion. Thank you very much Ian, it made a very happy change.

Our monthly Swing Nite is still very popular and always well supported so come early to get a seat.

We have had our annual meeting and the officers remain the same so we go into the new year with anticipation and high hopes. New members are always welcome so please come along. The club is open daily and our stewards are there to assist you. Forthcoming events include a coffee morning, Wings Spring Fair on April 12, 10-noon, and St George's Night, April 26 will be celebrated with music from the Goodall Brothers and a ploughman's supper.

Don't forget our welfare team. They can only help you if they know about any problems you might have. If you are ex RAF, a wife or family member in need please don't hesitate to seek advice. It will be dealt with in strict confidentiality.
