“Having learned about the work Mary’s Meals does in some of the poorest areas of the world by supplying children with the combination of a school education and meals we had to help.

“We shall be screening the film at 10.30am during December and early January in support.”
Charlie Doherty: “It’s alsmost eight years since I held my first charity event. It was because of what I saw on TV after the Boxing Day Tsunami, people that had little were losing everything. I just wanted to help.

“My mum explained to me how charities worked and I’ve been joining up ever since to a range of charity challenges having fun with my friends and family,

“I found out about Mary’s Meals six years ago and there are so many good causes out there I don’t want people to stop supporting charities they care about but maybe just maybe after seeing Child 31 they may want to make a slight change.

“By giving as little as £10.70 once will feed a child for an entire school year in their place of education in one of the 16 countries Mary’s Meals work in.

“I am so grateful to the Managers at Crawley Cineworld for listening to me resulting in a whole week’s screening of Child 31 at no costs to me or the charity, which means more children are being fed and more people get to hear about this life changing work. Thank you Crawley Cineworld!”
