Line of Duty: Watch impressionist and former Horley schoolboy Luke Kempner impersonate DI Steve Arnott and Superintendent Ted Hastings

Impressionist Luke Kempner released a new arsenal of impersonations before the latest explosive episode of Line of Duty.

The former Oakwood School pupil is one of the UK's best impressionists and in his new video he has nailed the characters DI Steve Arnott (played by Martin Compston) and Superintendent Ted Hastings (played by Adrian Dunbar) - including Hastings' most famous phrase 'Mother of God'. Kempner, who got global attention in 2012 with his hit viral video Downstairs At Downton, released the video on his social media channels before tonight's episode of the BBC 1 drama which has the nation gripped.

Kempner posted the video and tweeted: "Line Of Duty IMPRESSIONS... Steve has discovered the worst crime EVER committed. #LineOfDuty #LOD #MotherOfGod #LineOfLukey"

In the four-minute video, he also takes on the character of DCI Jo Davidson (played by Kelly Macdonald).

In reply to his tweet, Steve B (@stevieb998_ replied: "Mother of God that was Utterly brilliant...."

Kempner took his one man show The Only Way Is Downton (where he did impressions of the characters of Downton Abbey) to theatres and festivals across the UK, including Latitude and two years at the Edinburgh Fringe.

He has also appeared in Murder In Successville, has appeared on Comedy Central’s Drunk History and recently appeared on ITV's Celebrity Karaoke Club.
