Bare Bones will be playing at Bar des Arts, located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, on Saturday, August 9, from 8pm.

Andy Doran, vocalist and guitarist from Bare Bones, said: “We’re thrilled to be heading to the Bar des Arts stage. It’s the perfect venue for people who want to relax after a stressful week and check out some great new music.

“On the night we’ll be playing a variety of classic and modern cover tracks and we hope lots of people come along to check us out.”

With more than 80 years collective experience playing music, the members of Bare Bones came together to form the band in January 2013.

Based in Somerset, the band plays a variety of classic and modern cover tracks at pubs, clubs, functions, restaurants and hotel lounges across the country.

Drummer and percussionist Kevin Horner’s driving beats fuse effortlessly with delicate bass lines and harmonies provided by Martin Tong.

The strum of an acoustic guitar and vocals from Andy complete the band’s sound.

Entry on the night will be free. Booking is essential and can be done by calling the bar on 01483 453227.
