Well-known Horsham favourite and festival organiser Brent Yeomans has put together a superb array of local bands, including Lauren Rebecca, Taygan Paxton, Saviours of Soul, Nick Paxton, NooN, Paperboy and his own group Brent Yeomans and Friends Eclectic.

Showcasing some of the town’s best home grown talent, Devotion will be taking place at the Horsham Sports Club, Cricketfield Road, from 2pm until 9pm.

Expect some indie, pop, rock and soul with a sprinkling of ska.

There will be plenty of sing-a-long anthems with NooN delivering some atmospheric pop and Saviours of Soul getting people on their feet with soul classics, funky modern grooves and disco favourites. Recently tipped as the South’s ‘next big thing’, Lauren Rebecca will also be appearing serving up some of her very own angelic melodies and fresh from headlining the acoustic stage at GuilFest is Horsham’s very own Taygan Paxton.

Brent Yeomans explained his reasons behind bringing this ‘Mini-Fest’ to Horsham: “The dreaded word ‘Cancer’ is forcing its way into our daily vocabulary.

“Cancer doesn’t have a preference, it’s happy to worm its way into the lives of the rich and famous, infants and teenagers, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters.

“It reaches people in every town, village and city on our planet. Just about everybody that I know has a loved one that has been affected by cancer.”

He continued: “Devotion is an opportunity for the people of Horsham to come together and raise some funds for Cancer Research UK.”

In addition to raising funds for Cancer Research UK, Devotion promises to be a not-to-be-missed family music festival with a chance to really show support to some of Horsham’s most talented musicians performing on their home turf.

Local Rock God Nick Paxton will be entertaining the crowd with a lively acoustic set followed with a very special guest spot with Brent Yeomans and Friends Eclectic.
