On Sunday October 12 (12 noon – 2.30pm) there is Jazz Lunch with Derek Nash.

Derek Nash, alto sax soloist with Jools Holland’s R&B Orchestra, leader of Sax Appeal and member Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion accompanied by the virtuoso Australian guitarist Dave Colton.

On Sunday November 30 (3pm), in the Studio there is When Peggy met Ella.

Sarah Moule and Shireen Francis celebrate two great singers, Peggy Lee and Ella Fitzgerald.

From the understated purr of Black Coffee to the infectious swing of The Lady Is A Tramp and Cheek To Cheek. Together with Ronnie Scott pianist Geoff Castle they deliver favourites such as Summertime, That Old Black Magic and Fever and some lesser-known gems. Tickets: £12 (£14 on door)

On Sunday January 18 (from 12noon-2.30pm) there is a Jazz Lunch Mike Piggott’s Hot Club Trio.

Mike Piggott with his Hot Club Trio featuring himself on violin, Nils Solberg on guitar and Pete Morgan on double bass bring their own entertaining combination of gypsy jazz, swing and blues as inspired by the Hot Club de France, led by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli.
