Packed Chilli Festival planned

Things are hotting up big time at West Dean Gardens in preparation for the annual Chilli Fiesta (9 – 11 August) which, this year, is bigger and better than ever.

The UK’s largest and most popular celebration of all things chilli is this year offering on-site camping and an eclectic mix of late night entertainment (until 11pm) to keep chilli goers entertained over each of the three nights.

Book a pitch now and make a weekend of it or simply come for a day, an evening or an overnight camping stay to take advantage of the fantastic line up of musicians, dancers and celebrity chefs on offer.

Don’t forget the stars of the show and the reason why West Dean has become a magnet for all things chilli - the Glasshouses in the Walled Gardens will be full to the brim with over 150 varieties of chilli and there’ll be plenty of food, stalls and children’s entertainment to keep everyone busy over the weekend.

• Katari – this panpipe duo bring you the haunting sound of the Peruvian Andes

• Cocktail Demos – demos throughout the day at the three bars and on the main stage, including the ultimate Chilli Cocktail – the Westdini!

• Chilli Circus – international circus performers Penni Tovey & Marty Bindschatel will amaze with their tricks and skills and their outrageous costumes.
