Rejoice and be merry

Bexhill Choral Society, under their conductor Kenneth Roberts, celebrate Christmas with their traditional Carol concert, Rejoice and Be Merry.

This will be held on Saturday December 11 at St. Augustine’s Church, off Cooden Drive, at 7.30pm.

Choir member Sue Wright said: “As always, it is a varied and entertaining programme with carols sung by the choir, audience participation in the most-loved traditional carols, and Nativity readings.

“BCS is again joined this year by the Cinque Ports Brass Ensemble which Kenneth Roberts feels lends the event an extra musical and ‘seasonal’ touch.”

The choir has celebrated Christmas with a traditional concert for nearly 60 years – next Autumn sees the opening of their Diamond Anniversary Season.
