Saturday November 2, 10am: Meet in the car park (free) adjacent to Wilmington Priory, GR: 123/TQ 543042. Walk via Deep Dean, Wilmington Hill and The Holt. 5½ miles. Could be muddy at the beginning and end. Stunning views possible! No dogs please.

Sunday November 3, 10am: Meet in the car park just off Folders Lane, GR: 122/TQ 337180. Ditchling Common Country Park. Walk via Wellhouse Farm, Clayton Wickham Farm, Ockenden’s Wood, Clayton (L), Keymer, Ditchling, Sussex Border Path. 10 miles level, but may be muddy. No dogs please. (This is also the day of the London to Brighton Veteran car run so we may have a chance to see some old “crocks” negotiate Clayton Hill at lunchtime.)
