The Rivals by Richard Brinsley Sheridan (adapted by Barry Syder) is on at The Capitol Studio, Horsham, from June 25 to 28.

Following on from last year’s acclaimed production of Pride and Prejudice, HAODS is aiming to take audiences back to mid 18th century Bath.

The town was legendary for its conspicuous consumption and fashion and this production tells a comic tale of love, rivalry and deception.

Theatregoers are invited to meet characters, such as the verbose Mrs Malaprop, the volatile Sir Anthony Absolute and the vivacious Lydia languish – not forgetting the vindictive Sir Lucius O’Trigger.

Tickets cost £12.
