Juicy Lime Productions are offering something dark and humorous, “psychological warfare at its best or worst”, suitable for age 18 and over.

Helen Pepper Smith, the writer and one of the actors, said: “Zoe and Nikki have been in lockdown for three months. Nikki’s started talking to the walls. Zoe’s been stalking celebs on Instagram whilst binge-eating chocolate. A long term friendship is at breaking point. Frank’s getting involved, or is he? And where the hell is Steve? Two women, one room and a whole lot of chaos.”

Helen added: “This piece has been in development for a long time. To see it finally come together is such a joy. We have a talented director who really understands the piece.

“He has found some surprising and beautiful moments hidden within the dialogue, which makes it even more exciting for me as both an actor and the writer.”

Brighton-based Juicy Lime Productions produce original plays. They plan to tour Killing Steve and support other Fringe events throughout next year.

Killing Steve by Juicy Lime Productions is at Brighton Unitarian Church, New Road, BN1 1UF. October 20, 23, 24, 7.30pm-8.30pm. brightonfringe.org or call 01273 917272.
