More stars revealed for Horsham Capitol’s latest panto

Andrew is well known for his TV work on CBBC, Doctor Who and This Morning and will play the hunky, handsome Danon in the production, which opens on December 11.

Having made his on-screen debut at the age of 12 as bad boy Ben Carter in Byker Grove, Andrew went on to present for BBC1, as well as presenting his own show, The UK Top 40 every Sunday evening on the CBBC Channel in connection with Radio 1.

Andrew played the role of Freedom Fighter Jake Simmonds in Series 2 of Doctor Who where he battled the Cybermen in the episodes ‘Rise of the Cybermen’ and ‘The Age of Steel’ before returning in the series finale to take on the Daleks in the episode, ‘Doomsday’.

He made his mark on the West End stage shortly after, playing Romeo in Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.

Andrew also recently won the award for ‘Celebrity Rising Star’ at the British LGBT Awards.

Two further stars, including a real beauty, have been announced as well.

The Capitol welcomes back Olly Pike, who people will remember as the endearing and slightly ditzy Dandini from 2014’s Cinderella.

Olly returns this year to play DC.

He is well known for starring as Wiley Sneak in CBBC’s popular children’s TV series Trapped, as well as other TV shows, including Trafalgar 200 (playing Young Nelson), Feasters commercial and The Royal Variety Show 2008.

He has also presented for schools with i-Catcher .

Since last year’s Cinderella, Olly has continued to produce episodes of Pop ’n’ Olly, a YouTube Channel focusing on equality, diversity and creativity for children aged 4-7. One particular episode, ‘Prince Henry’, has recently been turned into a book and iBook.

Olly said: “Having had such a great time in Cinderella, I can’t wait to return to The Capitol to work with some of the old team and I’m sure my new character will be totes amazing!”

Zoe Adkin who played Cinderella at The Capitol in 2014 is returning to the stage this year to play Beauty.

She is very excited to be returning to Horsham to play the role and be united with what she described as “the most incredible team”.

Since her appearance as Cinderella in Horsham last year, Zoe was cast in Consider Yourself, a film looking back at the life of Lionel Bart, who composed the ever-popular musical Oliver, working with choreographer Jonathan Butterell.

She also continues to teach dance to children across London.

Beauty and The Beast is at The Capitol from December 11, 2015, until January 3, 2016.
