Spokeswoman Lorraine McGregor said: “Sleeping Beauty drew more than 27,000 people to the Crawley venue during its three week run.

“That’s a staggering 94 per cent of all the available seats for the show which starred TV favourite Stephen Mulhern, alongside CBeebie’s Cat Sandion and impressionist Hilary O’Neil.

“Feedback from audiences throughout the run was overwhelmingly positive and came from all directions with families taking the time to stay behind and comment in person and hundreds taking to Facebook and Twitter.”
