Trapped star chosen to play Dandini at The Capitol’s pantomime

Horsham’s Capitol has confirmed first casting for this year’s family pantomime extravaganza Cinderella.

Olly Pike will play Prince Charming’s valet Dandini.

Star of CBBC’s Trapped, Olly is well known for playing Wiley Sneak in the popular children’s TV series, a programme which won a BAFTA for Best Children’s Entertainment in 2011. Olly has also gone on to produce a YouTube channel for children, which can be seen at www.popnolly.com.

Olly trained at Bird College, graduating 2007 with a degree in dance and theatre performance. Whilst at college, Olly played Bobby in Cy Coleman’s The Life and also performed in the Brick Lane Music Hall pantomime

Olly’s theatre credits include: We Will Rock You (London); We Will Rock You (original UK tour); Peter in Peter Pan (Dorking); Dora the Explorer Live (London and international tour); Death in Venice (London Coliseum); Dick Whittington (Theatre Royal Norwich) and the UK tour of Peter and the Wolf with dance company In the Wings. Olly has also performed with the West End Experience at various corporate events.

As well as Trapped, Olly’s television experience includes: Trafalgar 200 (2006), playing Young Nelson; Feasters commercial (2008); The Royal Variety Show (2008) and has presented for schools with i-Catcher (2012). Olly enjoys presenting and is involved with ongoing projects.
