The story depicts life with the lovable Larkin family and their idyllic life in the Kent countryside in 1957 have been perennial favorites with readers and audiences alike.

Led by ‘happy- go-lucky’ Pa Larkin (Craig Wayland) and big hearted Ma (Dolena Richmond), life with their six children is full of surprises, not least when their eldest daughter Mariette (Hannah Elmer) falls for an unsuspecting young Tax Inspector.
