VIDEO: Person dies after being hit by train
One person has died after being hit by a train near Ifield, Southern has confirmed.
Emergency services were called before 9pm. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
No trains are running between Three Bridges and Horsham until further notice.
A spokesman for Southern said a replacement bus service had been laid on for passengers.
Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes.
