Video: Removal of fallen tree from garden
Tree surgeons removed a fir tree from a back garden yesterday (January 27) after it was blown over by heavy winds.
The clear-up took place after the large tree fell onto a house roof in Rosamund Road, Furnace Green, on Saturday (January 25) at about 5pm.
The elderly couple who live in the house were not injured but some roof tiles and guttering were damaged.
The tree covered the whole of the garden and took more than two hours to clear.
