Willow’s Folk Club continue their eclectic summer programme

Continuing their eclectic summer programme, Arundel’s Willows Folk Club welcome their next special guest act, family trio Wood Wire & Words, on Wednesday, August 7.

Spokesman Chris Davis said: “Performing a blend of bluegrass, folk and acoustic Americana, the combination of husband and wife Clare and David Rozzell with father/father-in-lawPat Francis makes Wood Wire & Words a true family band in every sense of the word! “The relaxed ease that these three have with each other transmits to the audience a unique and wonderful chemistry that has impressed many a crowd since their formation. “The band have performed at the Willows on several occasions, and each time have brought the house down with their air-tight vocal harmonies, David’s up-beat guitar, Clare’s solid bass rhythms, Pat’s instrumental wizardry on both dobro and mandolin, and a terrific selection of vintage and original material.

“Their continual rise in stature has seen them performing prestigious gigs at several major bluegrass festivals in mainland Europe, and their superb live shows continue to attract a wide variety of music lovers.
