Butlin's to remain closed in West Sussex for at least another month

Butlin's has extended its temporary closure until the end of February, due to continued uncertainty over when lockdown restrictions will be lifted.

Butlin's three resorts, in Bognor Regis, Skegness and Minehead, have been closed since December 18. The holiday parks had reopened just a week before this decision was taken. Read more hereIn a post on social media today (Friday, January 15), the family holiday provider said the resorts would remain closed for at least another month.

"Due to the uncertainty around when the current restrictions will be lifted, we have made the decision to extend our closure until February 28," the statement read.

"As always, we’ll be in touch via email, SMS or letter to discuss your options and, you can also find more info here. We know this will be disappointing, and for many of you this isn’t the first time you’ve had a break cancelled.
