One of Eastbourne’s leading seafront hotels is on the market with a price tag of £5 million.

The Best Western York House Hotel on Royal Parade has 84 bedrooms, a restaurant, two bars, an open-air veranda, three conference rooms and an indoor pool.

According to Colliers International, which is marketing the venue, the hotel was acquired in 2006 by experienced hoteliers who “invested significantly to create a strong product offering and impressive levels of repeat clientele”.

A spokesperson at Colliers International said, “The hotel is offered for sale as the owners look to focus on their non-competing hotel interests elsewhere.

“The availability of the Best Western York House is an opportunity to acquire a leading, superbly invested hotel in one of the UK’s most popular coastal towns.”
