‘Funky’ new bar gets set to open in Horsham

Bosses at Sit & Sip - which has outlets in Chichester, described as ‘funky’, and Woking - say they plan to open a new branch ‘at some point’ this year in Piries Place.

The bar specialises in selling craft beers and artisan spirits.

In a social media post, the company says: “We are beyond excited to announce that the Sit & Sip family is expanding with our third site in Piries Place, Horsham, opening at some point in early 2021, as soon as we are able to.”

The company admits that the middle of a pandemic might not be an ideal time but adds: “We sure like a challenge ‍-️ the trials and tribulations that come with fitting out a new site during a national lockdown has not dampened our spirits.

“We realise how fortunate we are to be able to grow our brand during a global pandemic.

“There’s a fab team in Horsham working really hard to get the site ready to open.

“We all feel giddy at the prospect of bringing the Sit & Sip experience to the community of Horsham and beyond.

“Fingers crossed we’ll be welcoming you in for a drink soon.”
