"We were making headway in February 2020 and then covid hit and to be honest it’s been a struggle since then.

"Whilst there have been moments of light, rising energy costs, numerous lockdowns and the rising costs of goods have just become too much. The cost to us and our family has become too great.

“The Rec Rooms Cafe will re-open this weekend so please come and support us and The Rec Rink will continue to trade as usual. We know that some of you may have tickets to the couple of gigs we had over the next couple of months, please bear with us as we work through everything.

“Finally, we want to THANK YOU, our customers, and especially all our team who have worked with us over the years, it’s been a ride and we couldn’t have done it without you.”
