Prezzo East Grinstead opens for indoor dining on May 17

The Italian restaurant is celebrating the reopening with ‘an even fuller menu than before’.

“We can’t wait to welcome our customers for covid-safe, indoor dining,” said a spokesman, adding that diners’ favourite dishes will be back with some new additions.

“It’s been a really tough year and we’re so looking forward to having our restaurants buzzing with customers again.”

Meals at Prezzo include spaghetti bolognese (also available as a vegan and gluten free option), tiramisu, king prawn and salmon risotto and goat’s cheese al forno.

Meat-free options include vegan ‘pepperoni’ pizza and vegan ‘chicken’ and roasted pepper pizza.

One of the desserts will be the new blackcurrant and prosecco cheesecake, and Prezzo aims to launch a ‘perfect for lunch’ selection with pizzetta style smaller pizzas and pasta dishes, served with a side salad.

People can order from their tables and from a smartphone or tablet using a QR code on the table.

All menus will be disposable and there will be social distancing markers and hand sanitizers.

Tables are limited because of the ‘rule of six’ and ‘two households’ restrictions so diners are advised to book early.
