In September 2021 the school will accept girls for the first time in decades, and has revealed the uniform they will wear.

Headteacher, Mr Ian Straw said: “We are delighted to be welcoming girls into Forest from September 2021 and to mark a new chapter in the school’s history, we are also very excited to be sharing our new school uniform for students joining us in year 7.”

The new school uniform includes a re-designed, more modern tie with the school logo plus a smart blazer, said Mr Straw. Girls will have the choice of wearing a shirt and tie with the blazer or they can opt for a blouse.

He added: “Another addition is our new school skirt (complete with school logo) to be worn with black tights, or they may choose to wear trousers instead.

“We are pleased to announce that the new blazer and tie will also be optional for all older year groups.”

The new uniform contract has been awarded to Taylor Made Uniforms, Mr Straw said.

He added: “Zoe has been working with Forest for the past eight years and supplies many of the schools in Horsham. This offers the most competitive package for our Forest Family.

“Feedback from those that have seen the uniform has been overwhelmingly positive and as a school we are all thrilled to be welcoming these smart, modern additions in September.”
