UPDATED Schools announce closures due to strike action

The following schools have announced they will be closed or partially closed on Tuesday July 5 due to strike action by the National Union of Teachers.

PARTIALLY CLOSED

Bury CofE Primary School

Kestrels class and Golden Eagles class will be closed.

Felpham Community College

Closed to years 7-11. Open for year 12 only for private study.

Forest School, Horsham

The school will be closed to all pupils except those in Year 10.

Gossops Green Primary School, Crawley

Closed to classes 4SR, 2TW, 1HS, RBB and RZP.

Holy Trinity CofE Secondary School, Crawley

Closed for Years 8 and 9. Open for Years 7, 10 and 12. Town Sports at K2 will take place for all selected students as previously advised.

St Nicolas and St Mary CofE Primary School, Shoreham

Classes closed will be: Reception (Gray Whales and Blue Whales), Year 1 (Spinner Dolphins and Dusky Dolphins), Year 2 (Penguins and Puffins), Year 3 (Seals and Sealions) and Year 4 (Seahorse).

Steyning Grammar School

Day school will close across all year groups. Boarding houses will remain open for boarding students.

Tanbridge House School

Closed to all students in Years 7 to 9. Open to Year 10 who must attend school as normal.

Thomas Bennett Community College

Students in Year 7 and Year 12 only will be in school as normal. Other year groups have been asked to remain at home

Warden Park Secondary Academy

Closed to students in Years 8, 9 and 10. School open for Year 7 only.
