Crawley reports highest Covid-19 infection rate in Sussex

Crawley has reported another three Covid-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the latest government data, while also recording the highest infection rate in the county.

Public Health England data shows a total of 107 people have now died in Crawley within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.

The area has reported another 1,117 cases in the past seven days, at a rate of 993.7 cases per 100,000 people. This is a slight decrease on last week’s infection rate of 991.9 per 100,000 people.
