Horsham headteacher calls for vaccines for staff

Karen White, headteacher of Greenway Academy is calling for staff to be jabbed to vaccinate them against coronavirus.

She said: “I would welcome vaccinations for school staff so they can feel more confident, but this would need to be in parallel with vulnerable people in their families for obvious reasons.”

The school has surveyed parents and, as a result will be offering blended face to face and remote learning to families as they feel best fits their family circumstances, the head added.

She said: “Our arrangements will be under constant review and adapted to manage this fast changing situation.”
