In a letter included in the report professor Steve Field, chief inspector of general practice, praised the practice’s ‘open and transparent approach to safety’ and reported that ‘patients said they were treated with compassion, dignity and respect’.

An announced inspection of Mid Sussex Health Care took place on Tuesday, July 12 with results published last Friday, September 23.

The practice received ‘good’ scores across all patient demographics the CQC examines, such as older people and people with long term conditions.

The CQC received 69 comment cards about the practice, all containing positive comments about the standard of care received. According to the report, ‘patients commented on a caring, professional and helpful practice team. They reported feeling listened to and treated with kindness.’

The report can be read in full on the CQC website.
