Prince Philip: The Duke of Edinburgh in Crawley - picture special
With the sad news of Pricne Philip passing, we have looked back at his visits to Crawley.
He first came in 1958 when he and the Queen came for the official opening of Queens Square in 1958.
In 2006, he and the Queen visited again to celebrate the town's 60th anniversary. They visited Queens Square, County Mall, Thomas Bennett Community College and Carey House.
Here, thanks to Crawley Borough Council, Getty Images and our own staff, are pictures of the two visits to Crawley.
