During lockdown weddings should only take place in COVID-19 secure venues or in public outdoor spaces. The government is asking for people to only hold a wedding or civil partnership in exceptional circumstances and those that do must only take place with up to 6 people. Anyone working is not included. But for when we are no longer in lockdown, you can look ahead at 2022 and 2023.
Here are some Sussex venues to say I do in.
5. Dorset House School, Bury
The school has Bury Manor Barn, a stunning 16th century building can be hired for weddings and events.
6. Brighton Bandstand
Between April and September, The Bandstand is available to hire for weddings and ceremonies. Photo: atex.scriptmanager
7. Eastbourne Pier
The Ocean Suite has panoramic views across the South Coast.
8. Worthing Town Hall
Inside you are greeted with a gracious staircase and marble floor with the town’s coat of arms displayed prominently before you. The Wedding Ceremony will take place in the grandeur of the 1930’s Council Chamber.
