Jazz men of the south-east

The Gambit Jazzmen led by Pete Lay come to the 1066 Jazz Club at Azur Marina Pavilion, St Leonards, tonight.

The Jazmen were originally formed in 1982 from Kent based musicians, but now, consists of musicians who travel from around the South of England and East Anglia.

The Gambit Jazzmen have a reputation for playing New Orleans music to a high standard. Tonight’s lineup is: Jonny Rogers (reeds), Barry Weston (trombone), Alan Gresty (trumpet), Roger Link (bass), Chris Marney (banjo) and Pete Lay (drums) .

The evening’s session starts at 8pm. Admission is £8 members, £10 visitors, £5 students.
